Dr Theo Sdralis was born and educated in Victoria.  He graduated in Medicine from The University of Melbourne in 1987.  From 1988 – 1999 he undertook a further 12 years of post-graduate study.  During this time he was trained by the leading sinus expert in the world, Professor PJ Wormald and undertook advanced training in paediatric ENT.

In 2000 he qualified as an Ear, Nose and Throat Surgeon and became a member of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons.

Dr Sdralis is the Head of Sinus Surgery at the Royal Children’s Hospital.  He was also Head of Sinus Surgery at the Monash Medical Centre between 2000-2004.  He is also a Senior Consultant at the Royal Victorian Eye & Ear Hospital.

Because of his senior positions at both the Royal Children’s Hospital and Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital, Dr Sdralis provides surgical training to junior surgeons.

Theo’s specialty areas include:

  • Sinus Surgery
  • Paediatric ENT Surgery including ear infections, glue ear (ear fluid), snoring and sleep apnea and tonsillitis.

He consults privately in his main rooms at the Manningham Medical Centre in Doncaster and also in Eltham and Cranbourne.  He operates privately at the Mercy Private Hospital, Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital, Royal Children’s Hospital and Manningham Day Surgery.

Theo has presented scientific papers at local and international conferences and published several articles in topical  journals.

Theo is married and has two children.  He loves golf, fishing, gardening and going to the park with his children.
